2. Categories of Data Collected

2.1 Data provided voluntarily through the contact form

The website provides a contact form through which the user can request information, quotes or support. The form collects the following data:

  • name (required);
  • email address (required);
  • phone number (optional);
  • message content (required);
  • confirmation that the user has read this privacy notice (required).

Data submitted through the form is processed solely to respond to the user's request and is not used for direct marketing purposes, nor disclosed to third parties other than the data processors in charge of the technical operation of the website and email service. Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

2.2 Technical navigation data

The website does not install cookies of any kind and does not carry out user profiling. The only technical data processed is automatically generated by the web server (so-called system logs), described in the next paragraph.

Traffic analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly:

  • Does not use cookies of any kind for tracking.
  • Does not collect personal data identifying individual visitors.
  • Does not track users across sites or across sessions.
  • Does not use fingerprinting or other identification techniques.

The service collects only aggregated, anonymous data about site traffic (number of visits, pages viewed, country of origin, device type and browser) for the sole purpose of understanding the site's overall performance. The only additional technical data that may be processed is that automatically generated by the web server hosting the site (so-called system logs), such as:

  • IP address (anonymised where possible);
  • browser type and operating system;
  • date and time of the request;
  • pages visited.

This data is processed exclusively by the hosting provider for technical and security purposes and is not accessible to the Data Controller in its disaggregated form.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of technical navigation data is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the proper operation and security of the website.

4. Methods of Processing

Data is processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. No profiling activity nor automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is carried out.

5. Place of Processing

Server log data is stored at the hosting provider's data centres, located within the European Union.

6. Retention Period

Web server system logs are retained for the period strictly necessary for technical and security purposes, in accordance with the hosting provider's policies (typically no longer than 30 days).

Data submitted through the contact form is retained for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and any resulting contractual relationship, and in any event no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless legal obligations require a longer retention period.

7. Disclosure and Dissemination of Data

Personal data collected is not disseminated nor disclosed to third parties, except for:

  • the hosting provider, which processes system logs as a Data Processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR;
  • the email service provider, through which the correspondence generated by the contact form is conveyed;
  • competent authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

8. Typefaces

The fonts used on the website are hosted locally on the site's own server and do not require any connection to external servers to load.

9. Transfers of Data Outside the EU

No transfers of personal data outside the European Union are carried out.

10. Rights of the Data Subject

Under Articles 15-22 GDPR, the data subject has the right to:

  • Access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning them is being processed, and have it communicated;
  • Rectification (Art. 16): obtain correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
  • Erasure (Art. 17): obtain erasure of data, in the cases provided for by law;
  • Restriction (Art. 18): obtain restriction of processing;
  • Portability (Art. 20): receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
  • Objection (Art. 21): object to processing on grounds relating to their particular situation.

For any dispute arising from the interpretation, performance or breach of these Terms, the Court of Torgiano shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save where the user qualifies as a consumer pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005, in which case the court of the consumer's residence or domicile shall apply, where located within Italian territory.
